Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Hotel in Nairobi
Our driver guide will pick you from the airport on arrival and you will head to the hotel after acquiring all the necessary requirements like batteries, visa, and local currency that you will use for easy transactions, yellow fever card and more. Head to the hotel where you will spend the first night of this great safari in Kenya.
Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara reserve
Have breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Masai Mara national reserve one of the large protected areas in the country having diverse wildlife. While on the drive, meet the viewing point of the Great Rift Valley and take photos. Head and check in the lodge, proceed with an afternoon game drive where different attractions will be spotted.
Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara plains
Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drives safaris for a great adventure. This conservation area is considered as one of the finest national reserves worldwide because of hosting diverse wildlife species. Enjoy taking photos in the endless plains ideal for animal viewing.
Animals that won’t be missed are elephants, black rhinos, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, hippos and crocodiles, etc. Great moments such as the sunrise, sunset, bush breakfast, annual wildebeest migration, bush breakfast and many more others.
Day 4: Head to Lake Naivasha NP
Proceed to the rift valley region after breakfast. This is one of the smallest protected area covering an area of 139 square kilometers. You will arrive and take part in the boat cruise where you will spot school of hippos. Head to the lodge of resort beach booked for your accommodation.
Day 5: Naivasha – Lake Nakuru NP
Have a morning game drive and then transfer to Lake Nakuru NP famous for hosting the pink flamingos that turn the ground reddish pink. Also, meet the black and white rhinos while in this park. This park gets its name from the soda Lake Naivasha and visitors can enjoy wide ecological diversity and varied features that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Bird watching, game drives, hiking and picnic lunch are some of the things you can take part in.
Day 6: Transfer to sweet waters conservancy
A morning the drive in Lake Nakuru national park will commence with great chances of spotting animals such as Rhinos (black and white), Rothschild Giraffes, Buffalos, Baboons, Impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, hyenas and many more.
Transfer to sweet waters sanctuary, a place that was established to provide home to orphaned chimpanzees from west and central Africa. It’s also a home to the big five animals, diverse bird species and many more others.
Day 7: Transfer to Amboseli national park
Visit the chimpanzees in captive. Chimpanzees are human close relatives sharing 98% of DNA. Take a game drive to spot more of the wildlife such as the lions, buffalos, elephants, leopards and a rhinos. Later on transfer to Amboseli national park large herds of Elephants with a great deal of beautiful scenery of Mt Kilimanjaro that is located in Tanzania and becomes the tallest mountain in Africa. If time allows, embark on the evening game drive to spot the wildlife in this great tourist attraction.
Day 8: Full day in Amboseli NP
This day will be spent having a great time with wildlife through game drives and they will be 3 in total that is morning, afternoon and evening game drives where elephants, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, bush babies, serval cats, spotted hyenas, birds species and many more others. This day will create memories in your lifetime.
Day 9: Transfer to Tsavo west NP
Leave Amboseli national park and transfer to Tsavo west after breakfast as you will enjoy enroute views. Arrive and head for an afternoon game drive in the park that is a pies for Mzima springs, spot African elephants, black rhinos, lesser kudu to name a few. Also, visit Shentani lava flow giving a great eye stretch for about 8 kilometers long. Head to the camp or lodge booked for night stay.
Day 10: Transfer to Tsavo west national park
Leave Tsavo East and head to Tsavo west with enroute game drive and this park is famous for its re elephants and black maned lions. Other wildlife that are in this park include Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine to mention but a few.
Day 11: Head to Mombasa
Head to Mombasa, known for the beautiful beaches located on the shores of Indian ocean. Be dropped at one of the best resort beaches for your leisure and massage.
Day 12-14. Mombasa beach exploration
Have a great time during these 3 Days on your beach hotel taking part in different activities such as swimming, boat cruise, sun bathing, cave exploration, in door games and more with various optional activities.
Day 15. Mombasa to Nairobi and fly back home
Leave your resort and transfer back to Nairobi either by flight or road, where you will fly back home and this will mark the end of 15 days Kenya Adventure Safari.
