Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National park. Enjoy afternoon game drive
After breakfast, our representative will pick you from your hotel in Arusha, and transfer you to Tarangire National Park, a journey that will only take about 2 hours.
Tarangire is decorated with Baobab trees that are loved by elephants, seasonal swamp and lagoons where the herds of buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, topis gather as if they are in a meeting. Retire to the lodge this evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: From Tarangire National Park to Lake Natron
In the morning, the driver guide will transfer you to Lake Natron where you will be visiting Masai tribe. You will pass through the Rift Valley escarpments that offer magical views that are perfect for photography. Visit the Masai villages of Ngare Sero, an oasis in the hot and dusty rift valley.
In a short distance you will see a cloud of pink covering Lake Natron banks which is comfortably hosting flamingos that fringe on the lake while feeding from Alkaline algae. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer northwards to Serengeti National Park where you will land in its serenity in search of millions of wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs and leopards, not forgetting lush fauna and birds too. Enjoy the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, retire to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
You will have a full day in Serengeti National Park, exploring and appreciating nature. Immediately begin the search for wildebeests, zebras, Africa buffaloes, topis, gazelles with predators always in the close range to make a kill. These predators are lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals and scavenger vultures.
Have a picnic lunch under a tree in the vast plains of Serengeti, continue with the day program to explore more animals, birds and flora. Retire in the late evening, back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Morning game drive and travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you will undertake a relaxing game drive to fully satisfy your eyes with wildlife and a chance to see some species that you might have missed in the previous day activity.
Engage these animals in the morning hours when they are still active. You will continue to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a home to huge herds of elephants, rhinos, lions, buffaloes, zebras, among other animals, all available for visual satisfaction.
Day 6: Transfer to Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, transfer to Mto wa Mbu, through the forested Ngorongoro crater which is bestowed with patched Acacia trees. You will by luck meet the big 5 mammals of Serengeti and these include lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos.
You may also spot other residents like…… Zebras, wildebeests, hippos as they linger on the water bank. With numerous birds since the park is endowed with over 500 bird species.
Day 7: Return to Arusha for departure.
After a relaxed breakfast overlooking the vast plains, the driver guide will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro. Catch up with your exit flight back home to your next destination.
