Detailed itinerary

Wildlife Tanzania Safari & Serengeti Migration Safaris

Day 1: Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta international Airport and transfer to a hotel in Nairobi

Be picked by the assigned driver guide from our company and go through a quick briefing about this amazing tour where you learn about the cultural beliefs of the people in these two countries that are almost similar.

Go through the dos and don’ts, requirements you need to have while on this tour and later on depending on your flight, you will have an optional tour to the museum, giraffe center and much more. Head to the booked hotel for your dinner and night stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve and stopover at the rift valley viewing point

Have a leisure breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara national reserve a journey that will last for about 5 to 6 hours. This is the most famous game reserve in Kenya known to host one of the wonders of the world – wildebeest migration. Apart from that, the reserve hosts wild numbers such as the big five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephants and buffalo).

Have a stopover at the rift valley viewing point to capture great moments and then spend the rest of the evening enjoying the sunset at the lodge or camp in the wilderness.

Day 3 and 4: Masai Mara safari

Have great moments while in Masai Mara touring the land of Masai people through game drives where you will spot animals such as hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, warthog, gazelles, wildebeest, leopards and many more others.

Great moments like on feeding, hunting, scenic viewing, migration of wildebeests together with zebras, giving birth if you are lucky and much more. There will be an option of taking a hot air balloon tour where you get an aerial view of the undulating savannah plains.

Day 5: Cross to Tanzania – Lake Victoria

Depart after breakfast to Lake Victoria with lunch box from Masai Mara a journey that will last for about 4 to 5 hours’ drive. You will meet another local expert driver guide that will take you through briefing about this amazing country. Spend a good time watching over the waters of the largest lake in Africa and the water loving birds such as the king fishers, Senegal lapwing, yellow throated greenbul, fish eagles, hammerkop and others. Opt to take a canoe to one of the fishing villages on this great Lake in case you are interested in fishing.

Day 6: Head to Serengeti national park and have an evening game drive

Leave the beach resort in the morning and transfer to Serengeti national park, on a road trip that lasts between 2 to 3 hours. Serengeti is one of the most famous wildlife destination in Africa and the world at large known for homing large numbers of predators, big five and unique savannah bird species.

After lunch, go on a game drive experience that will last till sunset. Meet different wild animals such as zebras, gazelles, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalos, lions and others. Retire after checking in the safari lodge or camp.

Day 7: Full day in Serengeti national park

Spend this extra ordinary time in the Serengeti savannahs to witness annual wildebeest migration as they find their way to Masai Mara national reserve in Kenya.  The full day game drive rewards you with great opportunity of picnic lunch, sunrise and sunset among others in the endless plains.

Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro area via Olduvai Gorge

Have breakfast and transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area via Olduvai Gorge a place where the first human skull was discovered. Visit the Museum and meet different tools that we’re used in excavating, the human skull of the early man since the place is known as the archeological site.

Later on, proceed to Ngorongoro area. A place that has the largest intact caldera in the world. On top of that, this place has a lot of wild animals and beautiful scenery.

Day 9: Ngorongoro conservation area – full day

Spend this full day enjoy the savannah areas of Ngorongoro crater to explore of the wildlife through a game drive. Meet the rhinos, elephants, cape buffalos, leopards, lions, cheetahs, gazelles, hippos, and more.

Day 10: Head to Lake Manyara national park and game drive

Day 11: Game drive and head to Arusha, fly home
