Masai Mara reserve is located in the southern Kenya sitting on 1,510 square kilometers of land. The reserve hosts migration of the mighty wildebeests through Mara River from Serengeti National Park, usually in the dry season (July to September). Day 1. Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve
Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel after breakfast and embark to this mighty National Reserve. You will reach in the afternoon hours, check-in your lodge, have lunch and go for evening game drive. You may be lucky to spot some animals like zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, gazelles among others. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Full day game drive in Masai Mara Reserve
This will be a great day for you to appreciate nature as you will explore the all the corners of Masai Mara Reserve in search of mainly wildebeests intermingled with zebras, giraffes, gazelles, as predators keep following them for a meal. These predators include lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and scavenger vultures.
Birders also have the greatest opportunity to spot numerous birds like ground horn bill, saddle billed stork, Jackson’s widowbird, grey penduline tit, ostriches among others.
Day 3. Transfer to Nairobi and departure
After breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you back to Nairobi. Make several stopovers for lunch, sight-seeing and craft shopping in the famous Masai Markets. Drop off will be at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport to catch outbound flight for your next destination.
