Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara reserve.

Our tour guide will gladly welcome you upon arrival at the airport. Following the documents’ verification, you will leave for the Great Rift Valley for some sightseeing and photography before continuing on to Masai Mara reserve. It is a five to six-hours’ drive along Narok – Mara highway dotted with verdant plantations, bustling towns and breathtaking scenery.

You’ll pause for lunch, drive to your lodge to check in for refreshments, have dinner and then retire for the night.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Masai Mara.

After a sunrise breakfast at the lodge, you will spend the day with in the vast Mara savannah reserve. The first 3-4 hours offer a chance of encountering among others lions, leopards, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, hyenas, Rhinoceros, and more, not forgetting the primates, flora and stunning landscape. It is a chance for photography and to identify various characteristics of unique animals in the wild.

Lunch will be in the wild, and in the evening hours move to Mara River to explore the aquatic animals like hippos and crocodiles as they attack the great wildebeest migration crossing. This day ends at sunset with dinner and a peaceful nap.

Day 3: Bird watching and Masai cultural tour.

Begin the day with birds after breakfast, listening to their sounds and noting their distinctive features. The park’s woodlands and swampy sections are home to about 450 different bird species, including flamingos, hamerkops and speckled mouse birds. Proceed for lunch.

The Masai storytelling, drumbeats, village life and thumbing jumps, with the highest Jumper taking the crown of the day can be explored and seen after lunch. It’s an exciting display that requires full involvement and participation from the visitors. You are expected to act, communicate and respect the Masai people and their culture. The practice of seeing people partially clothed, wearing animal skins, or sporting body piercings is common. Get some Masai clothing, and consider the day well spent. After the experience, retire to your lodge.

Day 4: Masai Mara reserve to Diani beach.

Immediately following breakfast, you’ll catch a flight to Mombasa. Lunch will be served in Mombasa, and then a road trip to Diani beach will follow. You will be guided through the unique experience by the driver guide. Also, you will savor the breathtaking views of bustling township of Mombasa, farmland and trading hubs. When you get there, you’ll check in at the lodge, have dinner and a restful siesta.

Day 5-6: Diani beach activities.

The rest of the days is for relaxing at the white sand beach and participating in some of the activities on offer after a morning breakfast at the lodge. Particularly noteworthy are beach activities like netball, snorkeling, swimming and spot fishing.

Delicious marine dishes will enhance cheery mornings and delightful daytime hours. The serene Indian Ocean is where Diani is located. The day ends with dinner and a restful nap.

Day 7: Departure.

After discovering Kenya’s pride, you will check out of the hotel and travel to Nairobi city or another pre-arranged drop-off location. If you have the time, you can tour the bustling city. One of the places with the greatest population growth worldwide with its nearby historical and cultural landmarks. Acquire a few mementos to keep as a reminder of your 7 days Kenya safari.
