Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to the hotel
Arrival at the airport and meet the driver guide that will take you through briefing about this amazing safari in Kenya. Depending on the arrival time, you will head to the hotel for your accommodations and leisure to exhaust from flight fatigue.
Day 2: Nairobi city tour and visit Nairobi national park
Visit different attractions in the city such as the national museum of Kenya, giraffe center, Nairobi national park that is full of wildlife. This park is faced three sides where you will encounter elephants, black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife and more. Return to the lodge in the evening for your dinner.
Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
Transfer to the mighty Masai Mara national park with a stopover at the rift valley viewing point. The journey to this park takes about 6 hours’ drive but full of memorable sceneries. Masai Mara is known to host the wildebeest migration that starts from Serengeti national park of Tanzania to this protected area. Arrive and take part in game drive which is offers a great chance to spot Mara wildlife such as cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, lions, elephants, Thompsons gazelles, warthog, hyenas and more. Head to the lodge booked.
Day 4 & 5: Game drives in Mara plains
Have fun as you spend these two days in Mara plains taking game drives which can be in shifts or full day in the jungle. Great moments will not be missed such as the annual wildebeest migration if the safari is carried out during the month of migration, sunrise and sunset moments food for photography, picnic lunch and bush breakfast all are good for memories and watch different wildlife such as elephants, gazelles, Jackson hartebeests, hyenas, lions, warthog, Oribis, leopards, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, jackals, vultures, ibis, and many more. Day 6: Head to Lake Nakuru
Breakfast at the lodge will be served and then head to Lake Nakuru national park, located in the rift valley region of Kenya. Enjoy scenic views and stunning rift valley escarpment while in the park and on arrival, be served with lunch and the game drive where you will see the zebras, giraffes and other antelopes. Head to the lodge for dinner and night. Lake Nakuru is known to host the flamingoes that turn the ground reddish pink.
Day 7: Drive to Samburu National Reserve
Arise on breakfast and take part in a morning breakfast followed by a morning game drive Nakuru national park and then head to Samburu game reserve a protected area that covers an area of 165 sq. kilometers. This reserve is a home to different wildlife such as Somali ostrich, zebras, giraffes, Oryx and others. Arrive and immediately head to the lodge for a great accommodation.
Day 8: Explore Samburu reserve
This full day will give you a chance to explore Samburu national Reserve through a game drive after breakfast and this will allow you to spot the big five animals except the Rhinos. Meet the Oryx, elephants, lions, buffalos, zebras, gerenuk, leopards, cheetahs and any more others. Enjoy the beautiful plains and create memories full of picnic lunch and dinner.
Day 9: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Have full day transfer to Amboseli national park that is known for stunning view covered with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background and again homing large herds of elephants. Arrival and check in the lodge for your accommodation.
Day 10: Full day in Amboseli NP
Have an early breakfast and then head for a full day game drive in the plains of Amboseli national park where you will meet. Enjoy the large numbers of elephants with a background of Mt Kilimanjaro the tallest mountain in Africa located in Tanzania. There will be entry of wild animals that you will enjoy such as lions, buffalos, elands, dik-dik, zebras, Jackson hartebeests, cheetahs, zebras, and many more others. Lunch will be served at the lodge and in the evening, return for dinner.
Day 11: Transfer to Tsavo west NP
Wake up on an early morning game drive that will involve spotting early raisers such as lions and leopards followed by a transfer to Tsavo west national park after breakfast. The drive will take about 3 to 4 hours but full of memories.
Arrive and head to the lodge for an evening game drive where you will spot large population of rhinos, hippos, cape buffalos, elephants, bush babies, hippos, lions, Masai giraffes and others. Straight away, head to the lodge for your night stay.
Day 12: Full day in Tsavo west National Park
Wake up on breakfast and then have a full day game drive. With box packed lunch which you will enjoy as picnic lunch.
Your vehicle with have a pop up open roof and windows open. To allow you enjoy the beautiful scenery full of different wildlife. While in this great protected area that covers an area of 9,065 square kilometers. Watch over animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, gazelles, wildebeests, buffaloes, rhinos among others. Late evening, return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 13: Transfer to Tsavo East National park
Have breakfast at leisure and then meet your driver guide that will take you through a quick brief about this day’s tour. Transfer to Tsavo east national park with an enroute game drive. Arrive at lunch time and embark on the afternoon game drive. After lunch where you will spot among others cape buffaloes, red duikers, bushbucks, impalas, lions, cheetahs, hartebeests, leopards, leopards, hyenas, slender mongoose and African wild cat. You will not regret visiting this great national part in Kenya.
Day 14: Spend a full day in Tsavo east NP
Spend a full day expiring Tsavo East national park. It is one of the famous and oldest national parks in Kenya. The park is dominated by semi-arid grassland and savannahs. Making it possible to explore the best of wildlife such as lions, warthogs, giraffes, leopards, buffaloes, elands, African wild dogs, spotted hyenas and more bird life like ibis, vultures and many more others.
Day 15: Head to Mombasa
Wake up in the morning with breakfast, and check out from the lodge. Head back Mombasa to explore beaches. You will have an enroute game drive through the park of Tsavo east. Here you will encounter elephants, lions, zebras, hyenas, elands and many more others. Arrive and check in the resort beach for your accommodations.
Day 16 & 17: Beach exploration in Mombasa
During these two days, explore the beautiful Mombasa beaches activities. Such as swimming, sun bathing, visiting Fort Jesus, dhow cruising, visit Mamba village center with reptiles such as snakes and crocodiles, visit local markets and more.
Day 18: Travel back to Nairobi. End of tour.
Transfer to Nairobi on this last day. Here you will board your flight back home and this will be the end of your 18 Days Tour.
