Sanctuary Olonana Masai Mara – Luxury Safari Lodge with Game Drives

Sanctuary Olonana is a luxury lodge with 14 spacious suites, including family suites with wide openings that overlook the Mara Reserve. Since it is located near the Mara River, wildebeest enthusiasts should book early if they want to see the migration, as the lodge can get very busy during peak times.

The fee includes meals, game drives (which give tourists a great experience exploring the reserve by vehicle while spotting the Big Five, birds, herbivores, and primates), nature walks (a popular activity that can be tiring for some visitors, but true wildlife lovers enjoy walking through the Mara’s grasslands and appreciating nature), a visit to a Masai village (a safari is not complete without meeting the Masai people and trying on their traditional grass-made hats), bush meals (for those who love eating while watching the sunrise—the peaceful feeling is unforgettable), laundry service, and airstrip transfers from Kichwa Tembo Airstrip.

The lodge is well-equipped with a minibar, three suites with extra bedrooms, soft and comfortable bedding, a spa, laundry service, a clear blue swimming pool, plenty of parking space, clean bathrooms, and fresh soft towels, among many other amenities.

For adults sharing in October, the fee is $4,952 per person. From November to December 14, the fee is $2,635 per person. From December 15 to January 1, the fee goes back to $4,952. An extra day in October costs $2,185 per person, while from November to December 14, it is $1,040 per person. Payment is per person, per night, and for shared rooms, payment is made in USD.

Suite rates include a private chef, dining room, bar, private swimming pool, private boma, dedicated waiter and housekeeper, and premium champagne and drinks.

The following are not included: park fees, spa treatments, extra activities, driver tips, private vehicle use, international and domestic flights, and road transfers to and from other camps.

Children are welcome. Kids under two years old stay for free. In other cases, children pay the same rate as adults. Children aged 15 and younger must share a room with their parents. A private vehicle is required for children aged five and below.

Enjoy simple and peaceful living at Sanctuary Olonana.

When the season is over, they return to the previous side and find vegetation there. They keep taking the same route year in, year out and the predators keep waiting at their exact spots.
